USA Day 2 : SAN FRANCISCO - MONTEREY

Our day started early, waking up at 615am, prepared and went down for breakfast before bringing our luggage down at 730am. Gotta bring our luggage down back on the bus as we will be staying at a different hotel today.

We will be leaving from San Francisco after our day tour to Monterey.

The most memorable places of today's tour are the Golden Gate Bridge, a very long steep climb up a slope to get photos of Alcatraz Island & San Francisco Skyline and the Fisherman's Wharf at Pier 39.

That's probably the most boring thing being in a tour, always waiting for people, they might not be late, but as long as we are earlier den the stated meeting time, we gotta wait... so take photos lo!

Using their Photobooth at the lobby to take some pics, supposed to receive an email of the photos taken, luckily i took them with my phone!! cos none of the pics taken is emailed to me at all! walau.

Off we go to board our coach and start our day tour at San Francisco.

Today's Itinerary starts with Breakfast at Tiffany! HAHA!!!
NO, its actually Breakfast at San Frans ChinaTown.

Angry Smurf says this is the Magic School bus, and he loves it... what is Magic school bus?

Old School Theater, dunno if its still in use though. looks good for a haunted theater movie.

Place where we had our breakfast. A typical hongkong dimsum place with very nice porridge!

Our table is located on the stage. lol. therefore there's this big Double Xi backdrop. i guess chinese people still hold their wedding banquet at this restaurant?

Me and Angry Smurf, i was telling him we can use this photo for our wedding next year. LOL

After breakfast, we will be heading to somewhere, somewhere where there are many steep slopes and we need to climb all the way up. to take photos of Alcatraz island. zzz

Tried to climb up walls for take these photos, but we all failed. i guess Gary is a lizard, cos he is the only one that manage to climb for all 3 pics!

Went to Palace of Fine Arts area for some rest and phototaking after the tiring climb up and down slope!

After our photostop and short break, off we go to the Golden Gate Bridge.

 After the Golden gate bridge, we went to the Civic Centre to take some pictures of the Cityhall and Art Musuem.

 Off to Fisherman Wharf's at PIER 39 for our Lunch and Shopping break.

Had our lunch at Wipeout Bar & Grill. they serve delicious food, BIG PORTIONS of cos, and i LOVE AMERICAN'S Services, always good and make us feel OK paying the high tips to them.

 ORDERED TOO MUCH AGAIN! haha

heard some órh orh orh' sound, followed the sound and saw a huge party of Seals sunbathing! way too cute!!!

 After some shopping at PIER 39, we headed towards Monterey for dinner.

Decided to eat at this Old Fisherman's grotto as Hammond said that alot of Singaporeans eat here!
Along the streets, all the restaurants serve FREE Clam Chowder Shots outside as they are famous for their Clam Chowder.

After our dinner, its only 7 plus and its time to check in to our hotel.

Hotel : Hotel Abrego

This hotel are 2-3 storeys high per block, and they have 4 blocks of rooms.

I hate how US hotels are all non smoking. But as we are staying on the 2nd floor of the 1st block, we are able to just walk down the stairs to smoke as our room is right in front of the staircase! HEHE!

Our room has a REAL FIREPLACE too! when we on it, the stove burns the firewood in it! it helps to keep us warmth in the room...

Went out after checking into the hotel to buy some drinks and water to tide us over the long night.
Hotel is located in a Bird No Lay Egg place, so all we can do is to chat and drink the night away before we sleep!

Able to hang out with Serene and Gary later tonight without having to pack our stuffs even though we are changing hotel the next day cos Hammond asked us to bring a small bag of wad we need as this hotel has no elevator so it would be real troublesome to carry our big luggages up the stairs! Lucky for that cos i do not have to pack the luggages tonight!

Hung out with some small bottles of Moscato in Serene's Room before having our last smoke break and back to the room for our sleep. tomorrow we are able to wake up slightly later. AT 630am! LOL.
