Like all other tours, our day always starts early, we started our day 3 in Monterey at 630am, woke up and prepared before heading to the lobby for our breakfast, headed back to the room after that to bring our bag down and waited for the rest of the group to gather before boarding our coach to start our day at Monterey, Monterey is located along the coastal area so the morning is extremely cold! Its always in winter countries that i feel that standing under the scorching sun is a bliss.
Our day started by driving along the scenic 17 miles drive, stopping at few stops along the way to take some photos and use the restrooms. We stop at Seal Rock, The lone Cypress and Pebble beach before stopping by The Lodge alone Pebble Beach (a beautiful hotel inside 17 miles drive area) to have a short rest before continuing to other parts of Monterey.

17 Miles Drive to start the day!
17 Miles drive is a scenic drive along the coastal lines of Monterey thru the Del Monte Forest, Beautiful and breathtaking scenery views of the Pacific Ocean along the way.
First Stopover of the 17 Mile Drive at Seal Rock aka Bird Rock.
Nothing Special about the rocks except that it is a place for the Seals to sunbath.
Cant really see the seals from the photos so decided to take pictures of ourselves and Serene + Gary instead.
Next Stopover at Lone Cypress, this is the corporate logo of Pebble Beach.
It is called the Lone Cypress cos it is the only Cypress on the rock.
Hammond said that they fenced the Cypress off with rocks cos in the past, Mainland Chinese like to climb onto the tree to take photos... Zzz, Ah Tiongs seriously tarnish their own image in every different country.

Like all our other trips together, gotta take some 'jump photos'.
Failed totally to get a perfect shot, so we decided to take a video using Gary's Camera after my camera batt died on me midday.
After our 17 miles drive, we continued to Carmel by the Sea, for some tea break and shopping before lunch.
Carmel Mission - the second mission built in California during the Spanish Period and its now a National Historic Site.
I like their Carplate. haha.. the Car Owner's name probably SWIM?
Driving off for Lunch at Monterey Cannery Row after our stop at Carmel By the Sea.
Lunch for today is provided by the Tour and its at BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP CO, a restaurant inspired by the movie Forrest Gump.
Right after lunch and some shopping at Bubba Gumps retail shop, its time to continue our journey to Visalia.
Stopover at Casa De Fruta along the way to Visalia for a Toilet Break and some Fruits & Nuts shopping.
Casa De Fruta are famous for their Fruits.
Arrived at Visalia at Dinner time, tonight's dinner is provided by the Tour too.
Dinner at Hometown Buffet, gotta be the best buffet in Visalia area, offering a wide spread of selections. not sure about the price though cos we are not paying for it! heh heh.
Took a photo of a REAL LIFE JUGHEAD JONES in the Buffet Restaurant but deleted it cos i felt its not too nice to post pictures of others and laugh at it. I told angry smurf that man is a real life Jughead from Archie comics cos we are all amazed at the food he took, he had at least 5-6 plates full of food (each plate is a mountain actually), initially we tot he is eating with friends, ended up he is eating all of it by himself!!! LOL!
After Dinner, its time to check into our hotel for the night.
Hotel : Holiday Inn Visalia
When i realised the hotel for the night is Holiday Inn Visalia, i was hoping it will not be as lousy as the one we stayed in Europe. I ended up being disappointed cos it is as lousy as the Europe one we stayed last year during our Europe Trip!!!
Time for bed after unpacking and getting ready our clothes for the next day, totally tired out even though most of the time is spent on the coach sleeping. haha.
Need to have a good sleep tonight as tomorrow will be a whole day spent shopping @ Tanger Outlet and Fashion Outlet. Supposed to be going to Tanger Outlet tomorrow and Fashion Outlet few days later on Xmas day, however as Fashion Outlet will be closed on Xmas day itself, Hammond decided to bring us to both on the same day so that we will not be disappointed.
