Today, we are going to the happiest place in the States! DISNEYLAND!
I have nv been to any Disneyland anywhere.
The one in Hongkong, previously i chose to go Ocean Park few yrs ago when i went, but i will be going to HK Disneyland in Mar this year!
The one in Paris, last yr in Paris, no time to go as we are with tour.
So im all excited going to the Original Disneyland in USA. YAY!
Like a little girl dream come true...

Our hotel for the next 3 nights is at DoubleTree by Hilton Orange County.
Its a fine hotel, albeit there are no shops nearby, quite a Bird no Lay Egg place, but i reckon we will be too tired to go out of the hotel anyway.
However, the best about this hotel is that there is an Outlet Mall just 10min walk away.
We checked into the hotel yesterday night, and the Hotel instead of welcome drinks, they gave out Welcome Cookies. Did not eat it though. haha. It seems delicious, just that i had too much of flour the entire trip and this cookie doesnt appeal to me anymore even though im a cookie lover. LOL
This will be the last hotel we will be staying in for our whole trip.
One good thing about USA hotels is that they are all very spacious and with 2 queen size bed most of the time, so we can use 1 bed to sleep, another 1 to put our clothes. hehe.
But all hotel are NON SMOKING LA!
Bought this small bottle of Gold at Grand Canyon the day before as Souvenir.

Alright, back to Disneyland.
Had to wear back the same outfit i wore for the 3rd day cos the stupid me wore all thinner clothings i brought over during the colder days. Los Angeles is way too hot, and im only left with THICK clothings, so had no choice but to wear my old clothes... :S.

Our tickets is park hopper tix whereby we can go to Disneyland Park as well as Disney California Adventure!
Arrived at Disneyland at 8am in the morning. Its freezing Cold as the Sun is not totally out yet...
Decided to go to California Adventure first as the rides there are more exciting and thrilling than Disneyland.
I LOVE THIS MICKEY FERRIS WHEEL!
This Ferris Wheel is different from those normal Ferris Wheel i tried before, did not manage to sit on it as the queue is way too long.
Looking closely at the pic, the cabins on the Ferris Wheel are not aligned, as the cabin actually slides up and down when the Ferris Wheel moves.
Its looks quite scary though, like as though you are flying out of the Ferris Wheel. haha

A thrilling Roller Coaster ride...
After much nagging from Serene & Gary, me n Angry Smurf decided to play this RollerCoaster since we are there. In the past, we wouldnt dare to take too thrilling rides. something to do with OLD AGE i guess. hahaha! As we aged, the guts is lost somewhere along the way. LOL
One thing good abt the rides here are that we do not have to deposit our bags, we can store our bags in the front of the seat, inside a secured pouch. Was worried about putting my bag inside the pouch cos this roller coaster actually goes 360! YES, 360 round the track!!!

2nd Ride of the day
Ride : Twillight Zone - Hollywood Tower Hotel
Serene told us that this ride was actually just a normal ride, where we sit inside a 'lift' and watch things from the screen while it goes up and down...
Luckily i kept my camera inside my bag during the ride and fasten my seat belt tight!
The Lift actually goes few storeys high and DROP DOWN all the way before going up and Dropping down again!
its actually like SpaceDrop but just that we are in an enclosed lift!
Almost scare the shit out of me!
i tell myself not to believe what Serene says again!
Happily going to queue for the ride, not knowing what it actually is.
Waiting for the lift to come down to pick us up!
Still naively thinking its just a elevator ride to see things.

im already super scared when the elevator begin to drop, and my hands are being grabbed from both sides by Angry Smurf and Serene. LOL.
After the ride, we strolled along the streets and saw Mr and Mrs Incredible walking back after their Phototaking shift.
Angry Smurf said that it will be so Awkward if both actors are guys and yet they have to hold hands to walk back tgt. LOL
Saw the Monster University character, take some pics cos no queue yet!
Next ride, decided to try this Monster University Ride since there is no queue.
Its just like the Madagascar ride in USS where we just sit in the car and move around seeing things.
Need to take some relaxed ride to calm ourselves down after the 2 thrilling ones! haha

Split up from Serene and Gary after that so that we can go play the rides we wanna play ourselves.
Me and Angry Smurf went into this Adventure park while Serene & Gary went to continue taking thrilling rides.!
After the boring walk around the adventure park, we headed back to Pacific Pier where we took the first Roller Coaster ride as there are more rides there and i wanted to try the Ferris Wheel.
Did not manage to try the Ferris Wheel as the queue is even much longer now.
So we just went on this Space Shuttle ride instead since the queue is shorter.
its for kids i guess, we just sat on the Space Shuttle while it goes round and round.
BORING.
Ride: Golden Zephyr

Right after the Golden Zephyr ride, we went straight next door to this Swing ride.
Its like the one in Genting, where we sit along on a swing and it just flies round and round.
Quite fun though!
Ride : Silly Symphony Swings
After the Dizzy Swing ride, we walked along Pacific Pier Area and played some games before queueing up for this Goofy's Sky school.
Decided to queue instead of getting the Fast Pass since its only a 20min wait time.
This ride is not exactly a Roller Coaster but its does have slopes and sharp turns.
Its fun and we had a good laugh!

Long queue but its moves very fast.
Within 10 min , we are already at the front of the line waiting to get up the car.
After the ride, we just stroll around the park as we are meeting Serene & Gary outside the entrance to Disneyland at 12pm to go have lunch and go into Disneyland together.
As there's not much time left, we just decided to go take a look at the Souvenir shops and walk around.
Bought a Wizard Mickey's Hairband to wear since alot of people are wearing Mickey, Minnie or Goofy's hairband too! hehe!
Played some games along the way at their Game stores.
Their games cost between 2.50USD to 5USD per game.
and i won nothing at all except at a boring fishing game where i won my Starfish plushie. hehe.
Time to go for our last ride of the day.
The highly acclaimed Soaring Over California which is a MUST GO!
Its a wonderful 4D simulation Ride.
We took the FastPass 1 hour plus before as the wait time for this ride is at least an hour!

After our last ride in California Adventure, we went to our meeting place at Disneyland Entrance to wait for Serene & Gary to come.

THERE'S JUST SO MANY THINGS I LOVE IN DISNEYLAND!
NO WONDER ITS CALLED THE HAPPIEST PLACE IN USA!
Had our lunch after meeting up with Serene & Gary.
The queue for lunch is super long.
Waited at least a good 30 min before getting our food.
The crowd at Disneyland is CRAZY!
and to think i still always complain about the crowd in USS. LOL
I love even their Ice Cream Designs in Disneyland!

It feels good to be eating Ice Cream under the hot hot sun.
Earlier i mentioned that its freezing when we arrive at Disneyland as the Sun is not fully out yet.
But after our first ride, the Sun is scorching Hot!
Just like in Singapore on a hot afternoon except that its slightly cooler. SLIGHTLY NIA!
In Disneyland, its so safe that people park their Strollers at the Stroller parking place with their bags still on it.

At around 3 plus, we decided to head back to the hotel to rest, as Disneyland is really filled with people and all the rides are way too long to wait for. Some rides does not even have time slots for the Fast Pass distribution anymore! Luckily we manage to get the FastPass for 2 other rides (thanks to Gary). the timing for us to use the FastPass is between 850pm - 950pm for 1, and 1050pm - 1150pm for the other 1.
So no choice, we decided to Head back to the hotel to put the bags of Disneyland stuffs we bought and go over to the Orange Outlet near our hotel for some shopping before coming back in the night to watch the fireworks.

After shopping at the outlet, we went back to the hotel to put our stuffs before taking the 7pm shuttle bus back to Disneyland.
Me and Angry Smurf already super tired but still decided to head back cos we wanna watch the Fireworks Display!
Had our dinner at Carnation Cafe as it is the only one not so crowded.
and the menu seems good too.
After Dinner, Serene & Gary decided to go for the rides they had FastPass for.
Me and Angry Smurf just wanna watch the Fireworks and head back to the hotel.
Too tired to play more rides. So we split up again after dinner.
Found a good spot in front of the Disney Castle to watch the fireworks display.
Waited for 15min.
BUT THE FIREWORKS WAS CANCELLED DUE TO STRONG WIND!
OH MAN!!!!

After the announcement that the fireworks was cancelled.
The disappointed Me and Angry Smurf decided to go back to the hotel.
Its already 10pm by then.
We still have a long day at Universal Studio Hollywood tomorrow.

Disneyland and California Adventures really is a MUST GO place if you are in LA, its fun, filled with laughters and joy, but of cos super ultimately CROWDED ALSO!.
i LOVE so many things over at Disneyland & California Adventures because i had always like Mickey Mouse, and everything there is about Mickey Mouse!
DISNEYLAND MAKES ME HAPPY!
