Today is our Free & Easy day, Serene & Gary is off to the Premium North outlet and me & Angry Smurf decides to walk around the Strip to see what's interesting along the Strip instead of spending our day shopping. Its a day wasted though as we went out slightly later at 10am and we have only a few hours to walk around cos we needa meet the group at 430pm at our hotel lobby for our Helicopter night ride.
I wanted to walk to Macy's, which is located opposite Venetian Hotel cos i have some other things i need to buy which i forgot about on day 1. On the coach the night before, Venetian seems quite near to our hotel, so we decided to walk there. It was a wrong move cos we spent 3 hours walking there (stop for lunch in between and keep stopping to take photos). my stupid shoe have been giving me bad pains in my feet since day 1 and it wasn't pleasant walking with two painful feet!

Had our Lunch at Mcdonald's, was expecting a bigger burger cos people always says that in America, their Mcdonald's serves bigger portion too. BUT NO LO, my Fillet O Fish is the same size as in Singapore. Their Fries is bigger though, my small fries is the same size as our Large Fries here in SG.
After our lunch, we continued our way to Venetian, wanted to go to Madame Tussauds Wax Musuem located inside The Venetian, but it was way too long queue so we just took some photos outside and went shopping inside the Venetian.
By the time we get to Venetian, my feet is already SORE FROM ALL THE WALKING!!! WALKED FOR 3 HOURS LA! The sore feet is making me lose interest in everything i see cos all i wanna do is just to sit down and do nothing.
After Venetian, decided to get back to our hotel by taking the monorail cos i really had no strength to continue walking, my feet is killing me... walked a while to get to the monorail station, shopping for new shoes along the way, but i realised there isn't much shoe shops in Las Vegas!
Took a Monorail to MGM Grand Station, its the only station nearest to our hotel, but we have to walk again!
Reach our hotel at around 4pm, with a fail effort in finding new shoes for me.
No choice but i have to endure the pain and move out again after a short rest in our room to meet the group in the lobby for our Helicopter Night Ride.
While waiting for the group to gather, i recapped what i did on my free day and REALISED I ENDURED ALL THE PAIN TO WALK TO THE VENETIAN COS MY MAIN PLAN WAS TO BUY THINGS AT MACY'S BUT I FORGOT TO GO TO MACY'S IN THE END!!! FML!!!
NEHMIND, Here we are at the 'airport' for our Night Helicopter ride over Las Vegas.
While waiting for our turn to get on the Helicopter. Did not manage to be on the same helicopter as Serene & Gary in the end, probably due to weight limits. My friends too heavy. LOL

End of our ride, this short 10 minute ride is the best thing that happened today, it made me forget abt my sore feet and my wasted day today. If any of you reads this, and goes to Las Vegas, This helicopter ride is a must try! around 140USD per pax. but its all worth it!
Headed to Bellagio to catch the Fountain show with the group but did not really watch it cos Angry Smurf is angry with me. LOL. headed back to the hotel after the group finished watching the fountain show, i thought its already 10plus judging from how dark it already is, but its actually only 8plus...
Nehmind, shall dabao our dinner back to hotel and eat den slp early cos we are gng to the Grand Canyon tomorrow, and wake up call is at 4am, we need to gather around 5/530am!
