7D6N TAIPEI TRIP - DAY 6

DAY 6 of our Taipei Trip 15-21 June 2013.

Last full day of our Taipei Trip, Had the same hearty breakfast at Yong He Soya bean before making our way to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. Took the MRT to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall station and follow the signs from there. Very easy to locate.

Sun Yat Sen Memorial hall was constructed as a memorial to Dr Sun Yat Sen, the National Father (国父)of Republic of China. In the memorial hall, there are guards guarding the statue of Dr Sun Yat Sen too. There are also displays inside the hall of Dr Sun Yat Sen's life and the revolutions he led.

After spending our morning over at Sun Yat Sen memorial Hall, reading and understanding the history of his revolutions, we left with new knowledge of China's History.

We then took the MRT to SongJiang Nanjing station to go to Miniatures Musuem of Taiwan.
Address:  台北市建國北路一段. 96. 號. B1
After exiting the MRT, turn left and walk all the way down before turning into a side road after 7-11.

Miniatures Musuem of Taiwan is started by a couple as they loved buying little cars and houses for their children when they travel for business. While in Netherlands, they discovered Miniatures art and they fell in love with it so they started making their own. They started this musuem in 1993.

The miniatures in the musuem is splendid, it attracted me so much that i wanted to buy a set and try making my own miniatures! All of them looks so real, everything is crafted with details.

Exercise Freak; see chin up bar, must pull a few times den will shuang.

After spending a few hours admiring the miniatures arts, we took the train to Taipei Main Station and went to take a look at Zhong Shan Underground shopping mall. Its a long stretch of shopping that links 2 - 3 MRT station. They have shops there selling shoes, clothes, bags and puzzles.

After Shopping at Zhong Shan underground mall, we went back to Ximending as we have a dinner reservation again at MaLa Steamboat at 6pm. Its that nice that we went twice in 7 days!

Having some chillout time at the hotel bar before going for dinner.

Everyday, the owner of this dog brings him to the bar for his cup of water while the owner drinks his coffee.
This dog is so obedient! he just sits by the owner and drink his water, one day i saw him lying by his cup of water when his owner ordered him to 'down'. when he moved slightly and spilled his cup of water on himself, he remained 'down'. Well trained dog indeed...

LOOKS SO CUTE!!!

Dinner again at Mala Steamboat.

I ate at least 10 of this cut orange

This dog is the mascot of a restaurant at Ximending.

Taking some time to watch this street performer perform his unlocking skills before heading back to our hotel to pack our luggages... leaving first thing tomorrow morning.
